additional easement for additional power line

by Janet
(Raleigh NC)

Crown Castle bought a 100 year lease for an easement on my property. They have made a request or order for Duke energy to add an additional line to power to facilitate Verizon. Duke Energy said that they could not do the work without a written agreement from the owner of the land and Crown Castle because the work require an additional easement agreement.

My contract allows access permission for the present easement but not for an additional.

Do I have the right to refuse to sign the new easement contract without compensation?

How much did Crown pay you for 99 years easement?

You need to be able to calculate how valuable this location is worth to Crown.
