CELL TOWER PERMITS

(COLORADO)

SO MY QUESTION IS WHAT IF I BOUGHT A PROPERTY THAT DOESN'T HAVE ANY PERMITS FOR A CELL TOWER? THE PEOPLE WHO COME AND SERVICE IT ARE LETTING MY HORSES OUT OF MY PROPERTY WHEN THEY COME AND SERVICE TOWER. I AM SICK OF IT BECAUSE THEY JUST TELL ME THAT THEY DON'T SEE THEM. WHEN I TRIED TO CHECK THOUGH THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON FILE ANYWHERE FOR ANY PERMITS. CAN I GET THEM TO TAKE DOWN CELL TOWER?

Permits
by: Anonymous

I knew who owned it before, i had all the paperwork and easment paperwork. I knew about the tower and i bought property so that inself isn't the problem. I didn't mind it when i got the property. The problem now is them letting the horses out and my son having headaches so bad that we are having to have neuosurgery now to aleviate pressure. When i checked to see how strong it basically was is when i found out the tower was built without any permits. The ceo stated that they complied with fcc but right now my attorney is in contact with the epa and fcc and we are finding violations.

The horse owner needs to get a grip!
by: R. Harden

I hate to say it, but Mr. horsey seems to have bought land and he has no idea what he bought. Who was his attorney during the purchase, who was the realtor, the title company, and like you said, who owns the tower? How can people buy land and not know anything? If he owns the land the tower is on, where is his lease contract and who gets the monthly rent? Lots of basic questions to ask, I would say.

Easement
by: Anonymous

Well we started to dig deeper and found out that the people who owned property before was in fact vaiero. What they did is they bought property and then put up tower and sold property with tower as a as permanent easment to them. So they tried to avoid all permits by doing this.

Editor's Note: This is why you need to run title search and read it carefully before you invest in a property with a cell tower on it.

Did you pull a Title Report?
by: Stephen

Sorry to hear about that. Hope that your horses will not run away while you sort this out.

1. Did you run a title report when you bought the land?

2. Who is the party that has an interest in the tower located on your property?

3. Is there a sign on the entrance of the cell tower equipment area with a contact number?

4. Did the seller of the property disclose any information to you about the tower?
