Cell tower

I was contacted couple years ago about leasing property for a cell tower. Land is about 80 acres. Signed contract and everything. Several sites were surveyed and mine was best for placement. I know you are a long way from here. I live in a little town called Briar, Montana. You will laugh if you look it up. Can you tell me the best way to get connected? Not fair to kids in school. They use PC at school and no access when they get home. Any suggestions?

Brenda, sorry the cell tower never got built on your property. President Obama approved some stimulus money for his rural wireless initiative. Perhaps that's a place to start. I am not up to date on that project but perhaps your local congressman should be contacted. Sounds like you should try a satellite internet connection if there is nothing else but dial-up available. It's funny that a lot of people complain about cell towers, but at the end of the day they improve our quality of life by providing voice and data services.
