We have several acres and have been contacted by one company about placing a tower on our land. How can we find others that may be interested so that we get a comparison?

Thanks for the question Melvin. Without knowing what you were offered, sounds like the cell tower company may have low-balled you. This is the typical procedure for tower developers when they have multiple sites to select from. The more choices that exist in a search area, the less leverage that you have. If I were in your shoes, I'd try to get them out to survey your property and start sinking money into developing your site so they are less likely to go elsewhere. You can always get competing offers once they are there. Remember, do not sign any letters of intent. Even if you end up with a cell tower that is paying you below fair market value, you want to make sure that the terms of the lease are fair and balanced.
