Cellular tower lease termination

I got a letter a few weeks ago by a company that says that because the cell towers are getting more technologically advanced that my tower might have to come down and they are saying that my cell tower lease might be terminated if I don't agree to their terms. I spoke to them and they were very abrupt with me. I think I should I tell these idiots to come and remove all of their antennas within 30 days from my land and see if they want to play hardball.

Zack, these companies contacting you about your cell tower lease being revoked are marketing and sales experts -- not wireless leasing experts. I'll refrain from naming any of them but these firms try to find the cell tower landlord who is the "weakest link" and play off of the fears of losing the rental revenue. I'd be willing to wager that none of the RF Engineers with any of the carriers ever consider what site has a lease guarantee when designing their network. Rubbish.
