Does T mobile remove their tower at the end of a lease as a rule?

by Curious Landlord
(USA)

I have seen a cell tower lease that says the property will be returned to the landlord in "Good, usable condition". I presume this means the equipment is pulled at T mobiles expense at the termination of the lease?

Yes they remove the cell tower... BUT NEW

Curious...

Yes T mobile or any other carrier will remove the cell tower. However chances are that they will not be raking down the tower in your or my lifetime. Instead they will extend the lease. $$$ :-))

Do Cell Towers get removed? Yes and No. NEW
by: Steve

All carriers including T-Mobile will include language that they will remove the cell tower and return the parcel/Premise to it's original condition at the end of the lease. In reality however if the carrier does not want to remove the tower, they might just offer to give it to you. 99.9% of all cell tower leases are getting extended however an additional 10,15 25+ years and the majority of cellular towers will will still be standing long after we are gone. Just make sure that the carriers include a provision to remove the tower if they are pulling out of the site.
