good place to talk from

I live in San Antonio TX. I have 20.69 AC in Lincoln County, Mississippi. I don't know what to do with this land. It is 6.64 miles from Hy 55 and 3.62 miles from Hy 28. And 4.05 from Hy 550. Is this a good place to put a Cell Tower.

Cell Tower on your land. NEW
by: Airwave Management

Bobby thanks for visiting our forum and leaving a comment. We get dozens of requests similar to yours every week. Airwave Management does not market properties to the carriers. We help landlords to negotiate their leases after they have been contacted about a cell tower.

The problem is that getting through to the carriers is virtually impossible, as I am sure that you have already experienced, so you need to get creative to have them drop everything they are doing and look at your proposed cell tower location.

You probably have less than a 1 in 1000 chance of having your property coordinates match up with the coverage needs of a cell tower developer like American Tower, SBA or a cellular carrier like Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile.

Do some research on your local Google directory and see if there are any regional tower developers or site acquisition companies in the San Antonio TX metro area that you can call. Also search for local RF Engineers, Architectural Engineers or Surveyors or Zoning Consultants who subcontract work for the cellular carriers. They may be able to help you.

Other good places to look that most people forget to look are the local job board listings like Careerbuilders or Monster Jobs and search for wireless jobs that have to do with cellular network development, RF (radio frequency) engineering, construction, zoning or real estate. Look to see if the carriers are hiring in your area. If they are posting jobs locally then they are building towers. Then find the place where they want you to apply and search for the local phone number of any of these departments at the carrier.

I also have a page where you can submit your property to a carrier directly. Good luck.
