Lionhead Golf & Country Club - Disguised Cell Site

by Derek
(Ontario)

This giant sign is located on the property of the Lionhead Golf and Country Club. Both Telus and Rogers are present at this site and give service to the whole golf course and Eldorado Park further behind it. Right underneath by the equipment shelters is where the tennis courts and golf carts are located.

Bad choice of stealthing the cellular tower.
by: Steve

For some reason, when I see yellow on red, the Pavlov Dog in me always think of a McDonald's Big Mac. A green sign would have worked better or a flagpole would have been a more appropriate choice for a cell tower.

I didn't know that Canadians played golf. Perhaps a giant hockey stick may have been an alternative design choice.

Great picture! Thanks for the post.
