Possible source of revenue for my town.

How do I go about finding parties who might be interested in installing cell (or cable) towers (I understand that some of these may be not unsightly or concealed)on municipal property, to get extra revenue for the town I live in?

Dan depending on where you are located they wireless carriers may already have developed mature wireless networks around your municipal properties if they were not available for development in the past. It doesn't make sense for a municipality to start contacting carriers or tower companies individually. They need to put out a tower development bid and see who responds. You need to put together a list of available municipal locations so the carriers can determine if any are of value to them.
