The carrier AT&T is not paying the contractors

by Olivia
(Maricopa county, Az)

I have a land lease with At&t, everything has been going very good until this year. They hired a contractor to upgrade the tower and they have not been paid. The contractor has placed a mechanic's lien on my property for over $91,000 and they will respond to my certified letters, email and phone calls. What can I do about this? The tower is located in arizona. I now have received notice that another contractor wants to come in . I informed them that I want a guarantee they will be paid timely and I don't want another mechanics lien on my property.

T- Mobile not paying its contractors
by: Anonymous

My company completed upwards of 200,000 dollars worth of work installing equippment for T-Mobile and they are refusing to pay the balance even though they are profiting from our work.

We were hired as subcontractors by the company Nexius, who was hired by T-Mobile. Nexius went bankrupt and now we are left with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of unpaid balances. T-Mobile strung us a long for some time before they went completely silent.

The whole process has been extremely frustrating as T-Mobile is profiting off of the work we completed as we speak and they refuse to even talk with us. They had us send over invoices, correspondence and POs and then never spoke with us again.

I know at least half a dozen other companies that are in the same boat.

Have any of you gone through this and how did you handle it/ get paid?
