Have you ever seen a DOG that is Soooooo ugly, that it is beautiful? Well, this is one DOG of a cell tower, a true work of art, a thing of beauty. You can only find stuff like this in New York City. I took this picture on my AT&T Blackberry Curve while driving at about 40 mph in February, 2010. I believe that this may actually be the ugliest cell tower in the world -- or at least in Queens. And there is some lucky guy collecting about $10,000 every month for the next 25 years on all of his cellular sites lease agreements who is laughing at all of us!!

That ugly heap of rust is in Ozone Park on Rockaway Blvd., Queens New York City. It actually might be the ugliest cell tower in NYC. I heard that the old man Herb who owns or owned the textile factory where this is was actually going to tear this water tank down about 20 years ago because they weren't using it anymore. They put the first antennas up on it about 20 years ago I think and just about everybody seems to be up there. I know it provides great coverage to White Castle and my phone always works at the subway platform. This website is too funny. don't you guys have anything better to do?

Sorry but I do not have a picture of the mobile tree. But it is a tree for mobil antennae but looks nothing like a tree. Why do not they just put the antenna on a normal tower? Looks uglier with the false tree. This one example at least here has another use for an old rusty water tank, so it is kind of a "recycling".
