Should interior space be part of the total price?


(Toronto, Canada)



We have a lattice tower and the carrier is using 750 sq.ft. of space inside. Do they even need this much space? If so, should we be charging one rent for the tower and one rent for the inside room?

Is there typically any electric utilized with the interior or exterior cell equipment from the cellular service provider?

Lease expires in 2 years (started 1997).
Acquired property with tower on it already.
Carrier currently has sublease rights to affiliates.
Don't know why equipment was not placed outside originally. Is it reasonable to give option to move outside or pay rent?

If interior space was agreed to then there probably isn't too much you can do right now.

When was lease signed? When does it expire?
Did you negotiate this or acquire the property with a tower on it already?
Does the carrier have subleasing rights?
Why didn't they put the equipment outside?
