Cell equipment collocation

We have been approached, separately, by both Verizon and Sprint. I told both we'd be OK with a shared tower, but both want 300 sq. ft. buildings. I understand how collocation can work on a single tower; aren't there some economies for them in sharing equipment storage that would let us have one building that would be smaller than the two?

Thanks for the question. Don't expect Sprint or Verizon Wireless to explain how this needs to be done. Both carriers co-locate on each other's towers all the time. The way you craft the deal can have a significant impact on the rental revenue stream that you generate. We need a bit more information from you regarding the particulars of your property, land use/zoning, topography, what they are trying to cover. Also why did they both come to you not the guy across the street? Determining what leverage you have in negotiating with these guys is very important. Please give us a call tomorrow after 9AM EST to discuss. No matter what don't sign anything, especially any letters of intent.
